Contruent Awards 2023 Project Management Scholarship 

 Annual scholarship to support next generation of industry talent

NAPERVILLE, IL:  Contruent, the SaaS company that develops industry-leading capital project management software solutions, which enable Owners and EPCs to build mega-construction projects with greater precision and speed, today announced the 2023 recipient of its Project Management Scholarship. 

This year’s recipient, Lorraine Mae Alejandre is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management at California State University, Long Beach. “I gained my passion in learning how things are built from being exposed to architecture during my time in community college, where I earned my associate degree in architectural technology,” said Mae Alejandre.”It has since evolved to a passion for construction and gaining a deep appreciation for how our infrastructure is built. This scholarship and recognition have motivated me even more to excel in school and to continue in the construction industry.

The Project Management Scholarship is awarded annually by Contruent to one high-performing student who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in project management, construction management, and engineering. Applicants were asked to submit a transcript and essay as part of their applications.

Given this year’s list of impressive candidates, several candidates were shortlisted for the scholarship, including Mady Seif from Purdue University and Christian Zaragoza, a student at Columbia Basin College.
